Rutgers Gardens Vision Plan
Revitalizing the Rutgers Gardens experience
Improving the educational garden, farm, and forest experience for all through redefined vision, mission, values, and goals.
The Rutgers Gardens strategic vision plan was developed through an expansive process that included gathering information and input from a variety of sources and stakeholders, ranging from document reviews and benchmarking to surveys and interviews to on-site assessments.
Development of the final plan was iterative with multiple rounds of review by staff, working group members, and school leadership.
The strategic vision plan positions Rutgers Gardens for future long-term success as it evolves toward achieving a reinvigorated horticultural and educational vision in connection with the university and community.
