The Rutgers Community Farmers Market (RCFM), which includes Cook’s Market and the New Brunswick Community Farmers Market, operates on Fridays from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Rutgers Gardens. The market will re-open for the season on May 16th with many of the same vendors you know and love, including the Rutgers Gardens Student Farm, plus new additions.
The Rutgers Gardens Farmers Market began as a student-led project in 2008. More than a decade later, the market moved to its new home, the Cook’s Market pavilion. Today, the farmers market is managed by Rutgers Cooperative Extension’s Department of Family and Community Health Sciences, with a refreshed name that brings together all of the Rutgers University farmers markets under one management team.
Follow the farmers market on Instagram for updates, vendor appearances, and special events, and visit their website for locations and times, and information about becoming a vendor.
