With the festivities centered at the rustic log cabin and pavilion, you and your guests will also have direct access to the adjoining gardens and woodlands to wander and enjoy. Whether an intimate baby shower with the charm of the historic log cabin, or a birthday or corporate event with lawn games and walking trails, our unique venue is perfect for your next party or gathering.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Rutgers Gardens is unable to accommodate requests for indoor event rentals at this time.

Rutgers Gardens facility rentals may take place from May 17, 2022 through October 31, 2022.
Please note that requests are processed in the order they are received. Therefore, preferred dates may not be available.
Weekend events are scheduled for the afternoon, generally from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. If you would like to plan your event earlier in the day, please contact us for details. Events held Tuesday through Friday can begin as early as 8:00am. *No events can be booked on Mondays when the Gardens are closed.
All private events require a $300 deposit to reserve a date.
Rental Fee Includes
- Use of the log cabin and pavilion for designated event hours. Events must conclude by 5:00pm.
- In case of inclement weather, tent-like sides for the pavilion can be rented for $250.
