The Community Youth Garden is planted with vegetables, fruits, herbs, and ornamentals, and is used as an outdoor classroom by participants in our Youth Programs. Explorations in this garden allow children to experience tasting fresh-from-the-garden foods, to learn where our food comes from, and to explore our natural world through all of their senses. Gardeners and other adult visitors will enjoy exploring this garden for its numerous vegetable varieties, imaginative plant supports, and companion plantings. The Community Youth Garden also provides a bounty of educational experience for young and old about pollinators, composting, and gardening techniques Learn about our Youth Programs.
