Rutgers Gardens Cook’s Market provides a well-managed and organized farm market for both the local farmer/producer and patron. Our aim is to encourage the development of local agricultural and specialty products, as well as promote local economic development and community building through educational and family-friendly activities.
Since 2008, the Farmers Market has promoted land stewardship by practicing sustainable growing practices and providing the community nutritious, quality food. The market has been held every Friday from May through December. More than 25 vendors with local produce, meats, flowers, prepared foods, cheeses, wines and more. People gather to wander around, chat with vendors and friends, and fill their bags with locally produced foods.
