Bruce "Doc" Hamilton and his wife, Ellen Hamilton have devoted much of their lives to improving and enhancing the Rutgers Gardens. They have worked closely with students, Bruce as a professor and former director of the Gardens and Ellen as a long time volunteer. In light of Bruce's retirement, they have decided to endow this fund to provide lasting revenue to assist the Interns at Rutgers Gardens in their learning.

Arthur Rudolph Internship Enrichment Memorial Fund

The New Jersey Nursery & Landscape Association has created this fund to honor the memory of Arthur Rudolph.  A longtime employee of Monrovia, committed to plants and youth training programs, it is fitting that Arthur Rudolph’s memory be kept alive through the student interns at the Rutgers Gardens. Funding through the endowed Arthur Rudolph Internship Enrichment Memorial Fund will be used to enhance and enrich the experiences and learning opportunities of the Rutgers Gardens interns.
