Rutgers Gardens is a learning center for plants, providing information on how these plants can best be used in the created landscape, as well as how and where they grow in the natural landscape. The vision of the Rutgers Gardens is to educate students of all ages about the identification and culture of plant materials, as well as the proper role these plants have in the natural and built environment.
Farmers Market
Join us every Friday at the Gardens as we celebrate the Garden State with a farmers' market. The school of Environmental and Biological Sciences along with the Rutgers Gardens is excited to present the local and University community with this opportunity to experience locally grown and made products. The market will run May 23 through October 23 from 2 pm - 6 pm.
