Rutgers Gardens

Wedding Ceremonies

Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding!

Rutgers Gardens are a series of enchanting gardens tucked away on the campus of Rutgers University. We are delighted that you are considering us as a site for your wedding ceremony.

From early Spring to early Fall, the Rutgers Gardens provides a beautiful oasis of trees and flowers, making it the perfect place for your wedding ceremony and photographs.

The Roy DeBoer Evergreen Garden and the Art Rudolph Sun and Shade Garden are currently the only gardens where ceremonies are allowed. The Evergreen Garden can accommodate up to 200 people while the Sun and Shade Garden is perfect for 130 people. The Lillan Koelsch Gazebo ( donated by the Garden Club of New Jersey in association with Rutgers gardens) has recently been completed in the Sun and Shade Garden making it the perfect spot for your ceremony.

You are required to rent the Cabin and Pavilion to be used as the ceremony site in the case of inclement weather.  If you choose to use the Cabin and Pavilion as the location for your reception you will have use of the facility for 10 hours.

Celebrate your wedding at the Rutgers Gardens and create memories that will last a lifetime!

Twin Oaks Caterers is one of the areas most respected catering companies.  They have worked at the Log Cabin facilities for more than 20 years.  During that time they have come to know the facility better than any other caterer. Catering packages have been developed  by Twin Oaks specially for the Log Cabin and Pavilion.   Mike and his staff can take care of everything beginning with picking up the keys to the cabin, all set up and break down, as well as clean up.  Because they are our preferred caterer they will have access to the grounds for as long as they need so that your event runs smoothly.
