Begun in the 1930's, this collection was designed as a garden community, integrating small trees, a variety of shrubs (focusing on Rhododendrons) and groundcovers.
Consequently, this "community" features a wide variety of shrubs that will entertain visitors from February through August, as well as a number of mature and unique trees - including a Dove Tree (Davidia involucrata), Dawn Redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) and Kousa Dogwoods (Cornus kousa).
