Preview Sale and Rare Plant Auction: Thursday, May 11th, 3:00 to 7:30 pm
The preview is held each year before the sale opens to the public. The 2017 preview will take place on Thursday, May 11th from 3:00pm - 7:30pm. Avoid the weekend crowds while you have a glass of wine and be the first to select and purchase your plants.

This event has become so popular the following guidelines must be followed:

  • You must be valid by May 1, 2017 in order to attend
  • All Members will receive an invitation and only those who RSVP will be admitted to the preview (this is a catered event).
  • You will receive the following number of tickets based on your Membership level-
    Friend Level - 1 ticket
    Dual, Family, Sponsor levels - 2 tickets
    Benefactor and Patron levels - 4 tickets
    Garden Club level - 6 tickets

Pre-Sale Plants
Each year we feature a few plants that are very difficult to find or are typically very expensive to purchase and – as a benefit of being a Gardens Member – we are offering them for sale to members in advance of the spring sale.  The plants will be available for pick-up at the Thursday evening Preview Reception.

Spring Flower Fair Herb/Vegetable Sale Highlights Class: Thursday, April 27 at 7:00pm
Join us for this two-part preview talk about the vegetable and herb plants that will be available at this year’s plant sale. The first hour will focus on the wide array of vegetables, including unusual crops and popular tomato varieties. For the second hour, join Gardens’ volunteer Caren White to get a sneak-peek at our large selection of herbs. From culinary to aromatic, medicinal to ornamental, Caren will share tips about growing conditions and uses of some of our most popular herbs, as well as information about some of the new varieties you will see this year.

Spring Flower Fair Plant Sale Highlights Class: Thursday, May 4 at 7:00pm
Join the Director, Bruce Crawford, to get a preview of some of the plants that will be available at this year's sale. Learn about the growing conditions and uses of some of our most popular plants, as well as the rare and unusual. $10 per person - Members are free.
